That’s great. It is such a wonderful spot. Were the huckleberries ready to pick? I want to go up there and pick a bunch of huckleberries but I’m afraid I may be too late.

I just camped here this past weekend for the first time. I really enjoyed it! We canoed on the lake and swam all day. Wonderful spot!

I like that term too. It makes me think of Woody Guthrie. Great idea as a safer method for the kids. I’ll have to try that.

I like the term “hobo fishing”! I’ve heard it also called handline fishing… going to get my kids doing that this summer. Much safer than casting when there are 4 or 5 kids around, IMHO.

I didn’t swim in it myself. It may be a bit cold for that. It was kind of up there near the mountain. But, on a hot day, I bet it would feel great. Why don;t you give it a shot, come back and tell us all about it?
